SCORES AND TABS 4JIMI (zip)
Video & Synchronization
The musicians will see an accompanying video with a bar of cues and beats added at the top. These serve as collective synchronization and refer to the cues also noted in the score (e.g., To A – 1 2 3 4 – 1 2 3 4 – A).
A red line runs across the screen, visually indicating when the next cue is coming.

Part 1 – Riffs & Glitches
This section is built around typical Jimi-esque riffs. The musical energy gradually builds towards a chaotic, collaborative glissando, ending on the low E string. This section is accompanied by a video with abstract glitch beats, which visually provides direction and rhythm.

Part 2 – Jimi @ Woodstock
Here, all the musicians play along with Hendrix’s edited Woodstock excerpt. The video is virtually unchanged, with some minor adjustments (such as tempo changes and loops). The idea is to play along with Jimi as best you can, in your own way, within your capabilities. The score indicates the parts where everyone can join in synchronization.
