ChampdAction was originally founded in 1988 as a contemporary music ensemble by composer Serge Verstockt.

ChampdAction takes its name from quantum physics: the field of possibilities.

Every artistic experience and every scientific discovery can be seen as such an open field. The field itself keeps changing — the world changes, contexts shift — yet our gaze remains the same: attuned to the unpredictable, to the entanglement of voices, to the patterns that arise when personal and collective stories touch and weave new connections.
